As a recording and mastering engineer, Jennifer Munson has worked with the best in the
business. She began her career in New York at Sony Classical where she worked on amazing
albums from the Columbia library (Isaac Stern, Bruno Walter, Pierre Boulez). In 1995 Bob
Ludwig lured her to Portland, Maine, to work at his fabled Gateway Mastering, where she
worked directly with legends including Lou Reed, Bruce Springsteen, Tori Amos, and Beck. She
also worked on the Nonesuch Explorer Series there, and re-mastered the Kinks, Frank Sinatra,
Paul Simon, Prince and Madonna. She returned to New York, to work with Gene Paul at DB Plus
mastering studio, where she was nominated for a Grammy for Andy Statman’s Rawhide. While
there, she also mastered Deer Hunter, Psychic Ills, Christmas Decorations and worked on
projects of Alicia Keys, Busta Rhymes, Angie Stone, Paul Desmond, Stan Getz and Judy
Garland. A couple of years ago Chris Muth built her a beautiful studio as part of Taloowa.
There she has mastered The Scene is Now, Cynthia Hopkins, Nell Bryden and Afroskull and
worked on projects of Kate Smith, Pasty Cline and The London Symphony Orchestra. She also is
the technical director for National Public Radio’s On the Media. In her free time she can usually
be found in her garden.

For almost 3 decades, Chris Muth has been the Technical Director, at various times
of The Hit Factory, Masterdisk, and Sterling Sound and is the electronics designer
for Dangerous Music. Thousands of hits have been made in studios that he had a
hand in building, with equipment that he modified, designed, and/or maintained...
